The McEnery Company was engaged by a private client to appraise the Strand Building located at 225 Baronne within the Central Business District of New Orleans, Louisiana. The 30-story high-rise was constructed as an office building in 1962 and served as the local headquarters for Boeing. It was the tallest building in New Orleans until 1967. The building contains over 500,00 square foot structure and was converted in 2015 towards a mixed-use application with a parking garage, hotel, and multi-family apartments. An exhaustive market rent and occupancy survey was conducted along with an extensive analysis of economic data surrounding the impacts of COVID-19 to produce a credible and reliable value conclusion.
